Welcome
Once the home of the English painter Roger Fry, our country B&B nestles in a small hamlet in a peaceful fold of the Sussex Downs. Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, next to the South Downs Way, the location is hard to beat. Close to several cosy country pubs serving excellent lunches and evening meals. Three spacious rooms, two king-size doubles and a twin, all with private en-suites, and a full English breakfast is included.
Sitting alongside the ‘Old Coach Road’ which runs from Firle to Alfriston, it’s an ideal base for walkers, runners and cyclists. There’s plenty of off-road parking and safe cycle storage, so you can forget using the car for a few days.
There is a couple of excellent Pub/Restaurants a stroll away and several other good ones just a short five minute drive away.
